Dishes with a Previous Life- Thrift Store Finds
It's Vintage Thingie Thursday at ColoradoLady. I love today and have missed posting. Since I had some time this week, I have posted Vintage almost everyday!
Today I have some dishes I found at the local thrift store. The store 'Waste Not Want Not' is run by Methodist church ladies.
I love the white dessert dishes. One has a scalloped edge.
I found two dinner plates. The green and floral one reminds me of Grandmother's everyday dishes. I'll have to unearth the ones still left and compare. Then there's a lovely rose scalloped plate. Roses are and were very popular patterns. I must have six or seven different patterns but only a piece or two of each. That would be another VTT post!!
Lastly I have a bowl with the wheat pattern. Have a great VTT and check out all the great vintage posts here.

Beautiful dishes! I looked at your profile hoping the Methodist Ladies were here in Atlanta! What a great place to buy "treasures". Enjoy!
Beautiful dishes, my mom had a set of dishes with that wheat pattern on them, I used to see them every once in a while at thrift stores, but not much these days. Have a great VTT!
I think a table set with all different patterns and colors looks so festive!

I adore the dishes! I have a set of the wheat ones, hubby's grandma left them to us! I bought a few more at her sale when she passed. Aren't they fun??
I love plates too! You and I would
make great shopping buddies! :)
Don't hide these away. Get some hangers and find a blank wall. These are beautiful! Show them off.
I like the bowl with the wheat pattern. I think I remember my aunt serving green beans in a bowl like that. I hated green beans but I always wanted to get to the wheat. :)

love all the dish finds! I've never met a dish I didn't love. that wheat one is cool. My moma had wheat dishes when she first got married and I know they were nothing special but I'd love to know which pattern it was, it was not as nice as that 1.
