Metal, glass, thread and linen
Thanks to Suzanne at Coloradolady for hosting Vintage Thingie Thursday. Please visit.
I found these nut grinders in a Etsy shop. I would love to know more about them.
The shop had a collection of crocheted potholders. I love the different patterns. The fan I already had but it fits right in with the collection.
The heavy cotton tablecloth is a rectangle. I didn't measure it but probably 48 X 60. I included it in today's post because the colors looked good with my potholders! :)
The next two items are finds. One I picked up at the local thrift store run by the Methodist ladies. The other one was left at the swap building at the dumpster site. Two little horses .

Great finds and I love all the wonderful colors together!
Super finds! They all go so well together.
Beautiful crochet potholders! I just love the fan...I've never seen one like that before.
I love those crochet pot holders!

I love the grinders. I beleive they are nutmeg grinders from the 1920's-30's. Your collection of potholders are lovely. Thanks for sharing all of your goodies with us, Sherry
Everything is so charming! I never knew there were nut grinders, those are so much fun.
Happy VTT,
Sally
You seem to have a matched set of kitchen items, since the colors match they must have come from that same era!
Oh, what amazing finds, love the pot holders and all the colors....I always look for these when I am out and about. I have a couple of nut grinders, but none to compare to your collection...WOW....Have a great VTT!
The grinder in the middle is a nut grinder. My mother had one, and I do too. I haven't seen ones like the other two before.
I love your collection of potholders. How great that the colors all work together, I have a grinder like the one on the right, but I have never seen any like the first two. Now why would anyone throw away that darling pink horse???
Love the potholders. The fan one is great.
I had nut grinder like yours in the middle. You really have a great group of vintage things.
Oh my oh my I just love all these little tresures! I could make lots of pin cushions with all these lovelies:)
My sewing room isn't all that big; its about 14X17 which really is pretty small for a "studio" but I'm thrilled to have even that. If you go to the post below the "give away" you'll see how it came about:)
Thank you for stopping by!
Terry
Oh, I have one of those antique nut crusher things. They are great!
