New crazy quilt block/panel

Here's a block I am sending on a round robin. I have joined CQI and am excited about this adventure. There's still some finishing stitches left to do and I must make a small booklet for the others to sign. The block measures 9 X 18.

WOW I love the rich colours and the laces you've added! Now I'm wondering what this will be when it grows up? I'm thinking it could be a nice evening tote - but if that is the case make sure you note this and have a basting stitch at the fold lines so embellishments "go with the flow" easily! I'm sure the girls will enjoy dressing this up for you!

This is a fantastic block, love the colors you used and the lace embellishments you've added. That little fan in the middle is my favorite part I think! Lol. Your RR group should have lots of fun on this!
